How to stop hating your job

Not everyone is blessed in having a job that they really want to do. For those who are struggling everyday having to wake up early in the morning and to finish the whole day, it is really draining physically and mentally. It is normal if you feel burned out with your job. But if you happen to be in that stage where you still don’t know your passion, before you finally decide to quit your job, you need to find ways to just stop hating your job.

Be grateful for everything you have

There are a lot of people who do not have jobs and many of them are more than willing to do whatever it takes to be in your place. And in this life where you have to earn a living, you should also be thankful for everything you have. Whether it is a job that you find really boring and that you cannot appreciate, you should still be thankful.

Be active and work harder

The usual tendency when you are not happy and satisfied with your job is that you lack motivation and you slowly start to lose interest which can affect the efficiency and productivity of your work, and this is never a good thing. Everything that you do is simply a preparation for when the time comes that you are finally ready and you know what you want to do.

Take time to contemplate and to ponder on things

Sometimes when you get too busy, you often lose the time to think about your life. In order for you to finally stop hating your job is to take time to ponder on things. Having your own moment of self-reflection can help you answer certain questions like: why do I hate my job and lose focus and motivation? Why am I not happy?

Once you get the answers to these questions, it is now much easier for you to find out if indeed you are just tired and burned out with your work, or you simply are not happy and satisfied with it.

Find where your heart’s desire lies

“Where your heart’s desire is where your treasure is.” Most often people stick to jobs that they hate because they get high salary, they don’t want to look for another job, and so on. But this often becomes a dilemma in the long run especially when you come to that point in your life when you suddenly realise that, this is not what you want to do. Find what your heart desires and this does not meant that you should just quit your job right away without even thinking at all.

Take the risk and live your passion

Once you have finally found your life’s purpose or if you already know your passion but you are simply afraid of taking your chances, you should let go of your fear and live your passion. So, breathe, relax, think and weigh matters. Only then can you finally stop hating your job.
