It may require going to university or getting the right qualifications to do what you need, but if it is where your passion lies this should not be too much of a problem. One of the more attractive jobs in the realm of fitness is that of a personal trainer. Depending on what you do, you can be on the road visiting clients in their homes, or working direct from the gym. It is flexible too, meaning you can be directly employed by a company or working for yourself. In this day and age it is hard to get into personal training without the relevant qualifications. They aren’t too hard to get, you just need to be able to manage your time on the lead up and properly demonstrate your ability.

You can even consider opening your own practice too. If you get a degree you have it for life and can always fall back on it to get into another relevant job. You can help wounded athletes get back on their feet, or you can serve the public and help them with soft tissue manipulation, healing backaches and neck problems. The medical route is a lucrative one, but one where you will need to study hard for a longer period of time. You also need to have the intellectual capacity to make a success out of it.

If you like fitness from an observatory perspective you can go into sports coaching or club coaching. Meaning you coach the team or individual on how to succeed, falling back on your fitness knowledge to do so. These are usually highly prestigious and sought out postings that are hard to reach and harder to be successful at. But with the right drive and determination anything is possible.
